Frequently Asked Questions

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent lashes which are attached to the natural lashes safely, without any extensions attached to the skin.

How long do the extensions last?

Eyelash extensions normally can last from 4 to up to 6 weeks depending on one's lash care and maintenance as well as on the individual's natural lash cycle and shedding.

How often do I need to have a touch up?

Some clients are having their touch ups every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how well the client maintains their extensions, and how often they want their lashes to maintain a fuller look all the time.

How safe are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions, when properly applied and according to the natural lash health, are completely safe.

Do I need to use curlers?

One of the advantages of having eyelash extensions is the freedom from using eyelash curlers.

Can I wear mascara?

Another advantage of having eyelash extensions is that there is no more need for mascara.   Although some clients still prefer to wear mascara, we strongly recommend to them to use water-based mascara and apply them only on the tips of the extensions.

This is my first time and I don't know what style to select?

Our professional lash artists are all Roobz trained and certified artists.  They should be able to assist you on which style would best suit you.  However, if you would like a particular style, you can let your lash professional know before your procedure.

I just had eyelash extensions done someplace else and the extensions are poking me?

The eyelash extensions applied on to your natural lashes must be attached to your skin and were not applied properly to your natural lashes.  That should not be the case.  You need to have the extensions removed so you will be relieved from your irritation and discomfort right away.

My lashes are all clumped-up?

The lash artist where you got your eyelash extensions done have applied too much adhesive.  There should just be enough adhesive on the extensions.  Clumps and stickies will damage your natural lashes.  You need to have the extensions removed right away so you won't prolong damaging your natural lashes.

The lash extensions hurt?  Can I just pull the extensions out one by one?

DO NOT attempt to remove your lash extensions yourself.  You need the assistance of a qualified professional lash artist.  By pulling the extensions yourself, you will be damaging your natural lashes in the process.  And by doing so, it can also cause your eyes to get irritated.
