A Basic Beginner's Training Class
This is a training class for those who are interested in learning and understanding the whole theory on correct eyelash extensions application. This Basic Beginner's Training class is perfect for all aspiring lash artists!
This is an 8-hour class. The first two (2) hours of the training class will cover:
Introduction to Eyelash Extensions; Theories and Safety; Sanitation; Right Application; Materials and Tools; learning about the Classic-look Stying and how to apply bottom lashes.
Students will have a hands-on practice on a mannequin before hands-on practice on a live model.
Cost for this Basic Beginner's one (1) day training is $900.00 (includes Starter kit and and 1-year mentorship).
A $350 non-refundable deposit is required upon reservation for this class. Classes are held on Mondays.
Advance Volume Training
(For experienced lash artists)
This class is for those who are already doing the traditional classic eyelash extensions.
This is an 8-hour class and the first two (2) hours of the training class will cover:
Refresher on Eyelash Extensions; Theories and Safety; Sanitation; Multiple Pick-ups; Volume Fanning exercises; Different Design Styles; .05, .06 & .07 Lashes; the Right Tweezers for Volume application; and how to do Bottom Lashes.
Students will have a hands-on practice for 2D through 5D before hands-on practice on a live model. Cost for this Advance Volume training is $750.00 (includes Volume kit and 1-year mentorship)
A $350 non-refundable deposit is required upon reservation for this class. Classes are held on Mondays.
Refresher Training Class
(Three Hours)
Ruby also teaches a Refresher Training class (also referred to as "Re-training" class). This class is for professional lash artists who feel they still need guidance and re-training on the basic and/or the advance volume techniques.
The class includes topics such as how to retain clients, clumpiness, isolation, lash retention, speed and clean work.
Certificate of Attendance and Certificate of Proficiency
It is Ruby's policy that students will receive a Certificate of Attendance on the day of training. Students are required to continue practicing on live models for the next two weeks after their training. Roobz requires her students to show satisfactory proof of their work. Video of student's work or pictures via email or text will suffice.
A Certificate of Proficiency will be given upon satisfactory presentation of correct eyelash extensions application.
Certified Trainer and Educator
Ruby is a seasoned, experienced, certified, professional lash artist and master educator. She firmly believes that the best way to learn and become great doing eyelash extensions is learning in a one-on-one or small class setting. This ensures that each student in the class is given all the attention required. Ruby painstakingly spends time with each student so they can easily learn the skill.

Roobz Eyelash Extensions training classes include mentorship, a very essential and vital component to learning. Mentorship goes a long way and it is priceless!
Requirements for Taking an Eyelash Extensions Training Class
Interested trainees must be able to provide proof of liability insurance.
The student is also required to provide a model for the class. If unable to bring one, we will try to find you one. Additional fee may apply.
Ruby would love to train anyone who wants to learn eyelash extensions application. However, Roobz Eyelash Extensions training classes are open only to LICENSED estheticians and cosmetologists. Please refer to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology Industry Bulletin listed below.
